“I love him but every day I’m learning, all my life I’ve only been pretending. Without me his world would go on turning, a world that’s full of happiness that I have never known. I love him but only on my own.”

On My Own, Les Miserables (Eponine)

I went to watch Les Mis tonight with my family and I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from it but my word was it epic (in the proper sense of the word). So much emotion and story and the music was fantastic. Well worth the watch; I think I am going to try and read Victor Hugo’s book – perhaps in English and I’ll wait a year or two before I try to tackle the French!
